Pauline Pourailly

Together with Òmnium Cultural, the Jaume Bofill Foundation, and the Institute for Catalan Studies, FemCAT has comprised the Governing Board of CATESCO, previously known as UNESCO Center for Catalonia, contributing to the definition of priorities and objectives of the association. This association is designed to promote the principles and values of UNESCO in Catalonia, and to make the Catalan language and culture visible in the field of UNESCO, working to become a recognized leader in the management of diversity, and to reaffirm the commitment to the essential values of human rights, a culture of peace, cultural diversity, biodiversity, and dialogue between cultures. Since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda by the United Nations, CATESCO has made a special impact on educational transformation as a way to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The FemCAT representative to CATESCO is Mr. Santiago Sabatés.
